Worksets in BIM

Worksets create the ability to divide the project into functional areas.  This allows the propagation and coordination of changes between designers and enables multiple members of a team to simultaneously work on different portions of a project.

Worksets act as virtual partitions, allowing project stakeholders to focus on specific aspects of the building model. Each Workset can represent a discipline, phase, or functional area of the project. This segmentation ensures that changes made by one team member within a Workset do not interfere with the work of others, promoting a streamlined and efficient workflow.

Furthermore, Worksets in BIM contribute to data management and project organization by allowing selective visibility and editing of project elements.

“This feature has greatly enhanced my project efficiency, creating a more organized and collaborative experience.” -Matias Andreozzi, BIM Architect
